PassageWatch TV uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage features when needed to operate the site. The current MVP does not require visitor accounts or subscription cookies.
The password-protected internal area uses an HttpOnly cookie to remember an authenticated internal session. This cookie is intended for site operators, not general visitors.
The player may use in-page session identifiers and browser capabilities to record playback events, sponsor events, media source selection, and watch progress. These help diagnose playback and summarize audience activity.
Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar browser storage when analytics is enabled for PassageWatch TV. PassageWatch defaults Clarity analytics consent to declined for likely EEA, UK, and Swiss browser timezones, and accepted elsewhere so viewing statistics continue to work. If you choose Decline in the analytics cookie notice, PassageWatch sends Clarity a denied analytics-storage consent signal; Microsoft may still receive limited no-cookie analytics signals needed for aggregate statistics, but Clarity should not use cookies for your session.
The Clarity choice does not control necessary PassageWatch API calls, media delivery, first-party playback events, sponsor events, or future operational API calls needed to run the service.
Video storage providers, source media hosts, sponsor destinations, and other third-party sites may use their own cookies or similar technologies when your browser requests their resources or opens their links.
You can accept or decline Microsoft Clarity analytics cookies from the notice at the bottom of public pages. The default setting is declined for likely EEA, UK, and Swiss browser timezones, and accepted elsewhere unless you press Decline. You can also block or clear cookies using your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent internal login from working and may affect normal browser media behavior.
